Sister Charles Marie, or "Ervie" as she was know growing up, was born of Italian immigrants in Colorado U.S.A. Ervie was a dedicated servant of God, strict but kind. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. On one occasion she even played a game of football in a back yard with her 4 year old grand-nephew, habit and all.
