Betty L. Giordano, 71, of Pontiac, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 6:42 p.m. at her home, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Betty was born on July 3, 1942 in Eureka, IL, daughter of Charles and Evelyn Ewing Ales. She married Paul John Giordano on October 31, 1964 in Roanoke, IL. He survives in Pontiac.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven Patrick Giordano; one brother, Max Ales; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Hamilton and Margaret Ales.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac, IL. She was Owner/Operator and bookkeeper for Pontiac Napa Auto Parts. She attended Eureka Grade School and was a graduate of Eureka High School.
