From death certificate obtained by Don Kagle: Dora Agnes Caton, daughter of Peter Caton and Clara McKenzie; wife of Peter McKenzie; born Feb 5, 1887, Garrett Co; died Dec 10, 1946, Frostburg, of pneumonia; buried Dec 12, 1946, St. Ann's; informant, Peter McKenzie.

Dora CATON (daughter of Peter W. CATON and Clara MCKENZIE) was born about 1887. She died on 10 Dec 1946 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. Frostburg, Dec. 11 — A requiem mass for Mrs. Dora McKenzie, 59, wife of Peter McKenzie, of Route 2, Frostburg, near Big Savage Mountain in Garrett county, who died yesterday In Miners' Hospital after a lingering illness, will be celebrated tomorrow at 9:30 a. m. in St. Ann's Catholic church at Avilton. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Mrs. McKenzie belonged to St. Michael's Catholic church here.

Besides her husband, she is survived by seven children, Dayton, Dallas, Francis, Ralph and Stanley McKenzie, Mrs. Esco Garlitz and Miss Jennie McKenzie, all of Frostburg; six sisters, Mrs. Jessie Pfaff, Mrs. Mattie Minnicks, Mrs. Harry Winebrenner and Mrs. Albert Minnicks, of Frostburg; Mrs. James Werner, of Finzel, and Mrs. Cecil LaRue, of Grantsville, and nine grandchildren.
