SCHAMBRON, Dennis D. ''Denny''
(Age 58)
Born August 2, 1947 in Spokane, Washington. Denny attended Grant Elementary and Lewis & Clark High Schools. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and distinguished himself as one of our Vietnam war heroes. Employment primarily included driving truck for Diamond Fuel Company and he enjoyed his many years as a semi-truck driver for Safeway Stores, Inc. He is survived by his children, Kevin Schambron of Spokane Valley and Kimberlee Magee of Anchorage, Alaska and grandchildren, Kyle Schambron and Makayla Magee; stepbrother, Andrew Ferrera and sister Jackie Rooks of Spokane. Denny will fondly be remembered by his daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, aunts, uncle, cousins, friends, and neighbors. Denny enjoyed numerous outdoor activities and often camped and fished with his children. There is a viewing on Thursday, February 2 from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m. at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home, 1400 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 3, 2:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schafer Road, Spokane Valley. Contributions may be made to Spokane Mental Health or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
