East Prairie - Funeral service for Maggie Marshall Allen, 88 years old, of East Prairie was held today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Miss Allen died Monday May 14, 1990 at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born Nov. 10, 1901, in Mississippi County, the daughter of George Marion and Sallie Mitchell Allen.
She had lived in Mississippi County her entire life, where she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church here.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by four nephews, Leondas, Leo, Bill and G.W. Allen; three nieces, Maxine Laster, Daisy Nunn and Vivian Watson; one great-nephew and four great-nieces.
