Mrs. Glen Bothwell, 79, and a former resident of the Vayland area, died Saturday in a Flandreau hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Bothwell, the former Ada Ranft, was born at Danvers, Ill. She was married to Glen Bothwell at Miller, February 25, 1915, and they farmed near Wessington until 1927 when they moved to a farm near Colman. They retired from farming in 1960, but continued to live at their farm home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Colman. Mrs. Bothwell is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters, and a brother.
