Ruth E. (Heinz) Tarasco, 101, of Willoughby, passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, after a brief illness.
Born April 10, 1912, in East Cleveland, Mrs. Tarasco was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby. A vivacious, loving woman, she was the last surviving sibling of 12 children.
Survivors are her daughter, Shirley Tarasco; 11 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Tarasco; and sons, Robert Lee and Louis Tarasco Jr.
Friends and family may gather for a time of remembering from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at the Reception Center located on the campus of the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
