It was currently reported yesterday that Gabriel Ahl, a prominent farmer, residing between this city and Stephensport, was stricken down with paralysis. Investigation confirmed the truth of the report. He was stricken about 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, his entire left side, from crown to foot, being effected, and is now in a precarious condition.

Family information: Gabriel died while there were several children still in the home. Willie, his son, was just 12 yrs old when his father, Gabriel, died. Willie worked for other farmers in the Holt community to help his Mother and siblings.
