Mrs. Mittylene Stafford, wife of Joseph Stafford, died in her home at Galesburg, Nov 5th of paralysis, aged 55. Funeral services were held at the residence in Galesburg and the remains were brought here for interment in Greenwood by the side of her two children and in the cemetery of which her husband was one of the originators. The deceased leaves a husband and two grown sons. Mrs. Stafford was a native of Sangamon county and resided here some twelve years before moving to Galesburg with her husband in 1864. She had been ill for a long time. Her husband is a cousin of Moses Stafford of this city.
