Margaret Theresa Heiser, 88, of Hazleton, died early Tuesday Morning at Hospice Community Care, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Born in Harwood on July 8th, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Susan (Sivar) Volk. She was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish at the Church of St. Joseph, Hazleton.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Lewis in September, 1993; brothers Joseph Wolk in September, 1984, and an infant brother Lawrence; and sisters Theresa Kisacky in March of 2003, Agnes Yemola in November of 2007, and Rita Marie DePretis in February, 2013 and Francis (Frank) Wolk on February 12th, 2016.

Surviving is her son, Mark Heiser of St. Johns; and grandchildren Jeremy, Joshua, Jamin, Katrina, Jonah, and Jeron. Also surviving is a sister, Beatrice Shenyo of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, September 6th, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish, Church of Saint Joseph in Hazleton.

Cremation and interment of her cremated remains in Calvary Cemetery, Drums, Pennsylvania, were private.

Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home, Inc. assisted the family through through their Hazle Chapel, Hazleton.
