The body of Earl Scanlon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Scanlon,
arrived in Decatur Sunday morning from Little Rock, Ark. It was accompanied by Mrs. Scanlon, the mother and George W. Scanlon, a brother.
Because of the fact that Mr. Scanlon died of double pneumonia and public funerals for victims of the disease are barred at Little Rock the Scanlon family decided that it would not be advisable to hold a public funeral here for the present. So the body was placed in one of the family crypts in the Greenwood Mausoleum. It will be buried later.
