Ameless Martin Plaisance, 70, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died Sunday, May 27, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
She is survived by her father, Hubert Martin; two daughters, Joyce Plaisance Christen and husband, Billy, and JoAnn Plaisance Naccio and husband, Andrew; two sisters, Thelma Martin Aucoin and Barbara Martin Vizier; five grandchildren, Travis Christen, Jeremy Naccio, Robbie Naccio, Amy Gonzales and Jamie Christen; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine J. Plaisance; her mother, Irene Cheramie Martin; one son, Lawrence Plaisance; and one brother, John Martin.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
