A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Larose for Eva Marie Cheramie Richoux, 97, a native of Leeville and resident of Lockport, who died at 2:15 p.m. Monday. Feb. 26.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
She was the mother of Clarence, John and Stevens Richoux and Edith Bailey, all of Larose. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elson Richoux; parents, Frederick and Emily Collins Cheramie; two sons, Evans and Ernest Richoux; three daughters, Gladys Pollach, Mable Tucker and Elenor Richoux; five brothers; and four sisters.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary.
