Edward was born in England about 1509, probably in Weyhill, Penton Grafton, Hampshire. He married Ann Joan, surely in Weyhill about 1530. They were the parents of at least one child, John, soon after the marriage. Edward died about 1558, surely in Weyhill, and was buried in the churchyard of St. Michael's in Weyhill. It is not known if Ann died before him or after.
