Mr. Fondaw Dies: Services Friday
LA CENTER, Ky -- Basil G. Fondaw, 85, Kevil Rt. 3 died at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in La Center with the Rev. James Emerson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Mr. Fondaw, a retired farmer, was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie Fondaw of Kevil Rt. 3; four daughters, Mrs. Crystal Parks of Murray, Mrs. Martha Adams of Hickman Rt. 4, Mrs. Helen Boyd of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Bernard Phillips of Indianapolis, Ind.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Guy Throgmorton, John Merwether, Harley Fondaw, Buck Cooper, George B. Allen and Louis Pippin.
