She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Bernice & Charles Brient, Jr.; and father, Harold Grossenbacher.
Carole is survived by her loving husband, John H. Emrie; sons and daughters-in-law, Ross & Olga Emrie and Ted & April Emrie; grandsons, Mason and Taylor Emrie; brother-in-law, Jay Emrie and his wife Emma; nieces, Linda Abrahamson and Barbara Myers; nephews, Jerry Emrie and Kenneth Emrie.
