John was born on September 3, 1937, son of John Williams Grant and Minnie Hendricks Grant in Wenatchee, Washington. On August 16, 1960, he married his childhood sweetheart, Meridene Christensen, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. John Hendricks Grant passed away October 2, 2009, in Provo, Utah. He was 72 years old.
Survived By: His wife, Meridene; his sons: John K. Grant, of San Francisco, CA and James E. Grant (Elizabeth) of Denver, CO; daughter, Karen Hovey (Rich), of Santa Clara, CA; granddaughters: Laura and Hannah; grandsons: Jacob, Joshua, Caleb and Christopher; his sister, Julie (Jim) Erskine; brother, Jay (Marilyn) Grant; and many nieces and nephews.
