She was born on July 20, 1937 to the late Ellsworth and Cleo (Adkins) Anderson.
Martha retired from the Fairfield County DD. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going to the sporting events.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Nick) Tullius, Jackie Beckwith; son, James (Mary) Hanna Jr.; grandchildren, Casey (Lisa Garey) Beckwith,Claire Beckwith; great-grandchildren, Egan, Bon, Lille, Brenna; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Hanna Sr.; parents; sisters, Bobby Lindsey, Betty Lewis, Letty Saunders, Elizabeth Hines, Dorothy McManis, Frances Anderson; brothers, James, Ralph, Emery, John, Phil, Lee and George Anderson; and her beloved little dog, Maggie who passed away on August 29.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday September 5, 2013 at the Sheridan Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday September 4 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pickering House.
