Shirley Mae Schlegel, 61, of Locust Grove passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Schlegel was a former member of Triangle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Dent; and she is survived by her husband, Bruce W. Schlegel; a daughter, Annette Lee Quarnta of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Franklin Justin Foster and Herbert Allen Foster, both of Pensacola, Fla; six sisters, Barbara Ann Maddox, Sandy Hills, Judy Whittaker and Norma Conners, all of Spotsylvania, Louise Liming of Stafford, and Doris Bailey of Richmond; five brothers, Woody Dent of Stafford, Billy Dent and Tommy Dent, both of Woodbridge, Leroy Dent of California and Doug Dent of Front Royal; four granddaughters; and one grandson. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, at Triangle Baptist Church, with the Rev. Amos Healy Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407, or to Triangle Baptist Church, P.O.
