NOTE: In her Last Will and Testament, which is Public Record, Joyce stated the following profound words to her eight children:

I hereby request that all my just debts be paid. after this is done, I request that all my assets be liquified and that this sum be divided into eight equal parts, and that one part be distributed to each of my eight children or their heirs, share and share alike.

I love you all. I am happy with each and every one of you. You are splendid (and I might add handsome) people, and I am truly proud of you. Each of you has been a joy to me, each in his/her own way!

Life would have been desolate without you. My heartfelt affection goes out to all of your children. I have enjoyed their company and loved them dearly. I also love those who have loved you: wives, husbands and friends. Consistently remind them of this.

If there are any benefits due me because of any literary productions, that too, is to be equally distributed between all eight of you as it becomes available.

I have no advice to give you, except to try to be wise and to seek happiness in love and generosity towards each other. Be good citizens...that is, participate in the improvement of things here on Earth. Remember to vote, and so teach your children. This demonstrates the survival of Hope. Be true to yourselves.

Fill your conversation with words which really mean what you feel in your heart whenever possible. This will ensure that your course in life moves in the general direction you really want it to go.

Give your children honest friendship alongside your parental care.

Enjoy your life and pursue happiness and family unity. Stick together and you can get much more accomplished than on an individual basis.

As often as possible, have fun. Keep a lively humor. I know you will. God is good. Jesus taught the right things. Life is exciting. I’ll be here waiting for you just inside the Pearly Gates, and if you need encouragement, I will come to fetch you, God willing.

Never be afraid. We do not perish, even in what seems our final hour. We really do pass through Death unto Life. Be confident that the Force (which is the Holy Spirit) will always be with you.

Her Will was a true testament to her character and her legacy will live forever in the minds of all those she touched. As a result, God blessed her and she accomplished her mission of a job well done (Mt 25:21). Her children felt blessed that they were raised with such positive affirmations. She was an excellent mother, a great teacher, mentor and friend. We will always cherish all the little things she did with great love. * * *

NOTE: Evelyn Joyce (Cooper) Seiver was born on September 23, 1926, in Channelview, Texas, the only child of Ernest Everett COOPER (Find A Grave Memorial# 47002289) and ELSIE Lee (McBride) Cooper, Meredith (Find A Grave Memorial# 127563485).

Her parents divorced & her father m2 to Dovey (Townsend) Cooper. Elsie married 2nd to Oswald 'Slim' Whitney Meredith.

Joyce had one older half sister (Gerry Cooper, who was adopted by Ernest), and one younger half brother, Clyde Meredith.

Joyce married Marvin Seiver on August 14, 1948, in Harris County, Texas. They had eight children in 15 years and divorced in 1972.

She died on May 1, 1998, in Spokane, Washington, at the age of 72, and was buried in Lake Forest, California.
