Funeral services were held for Lucy S Rumph
from the Blackmore and Tubbs Chapel on
Sunday, November 16. Reverend Robert Hewitt
officiated and burial was in the Rich Cemetery.
Mrs Rumph died Friday, November 14, 1952.
She was born November 22, 1866, in England
the daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Adams.
When she was five the family came to the
United States and settled at Pontiac, later
coming to Rich Township. She married Mark
Rumph July 3, 1884 at Millington, They
resided in Rich Township until after his
death 22 years ago. Mrs Rumph then moved
to Mayville until the past year when she
lived with her son at Pontiac.
Surviving are one son, Hllltard of Pontiac,
one daughter, Mrs Grace Clendenan of
Highland Parley seven; grandchildren;
eleven great-grandchildren, and
many nieces, nephews, and cousins
