Edward T. Flynn, of Burlington Rd., Unionville, died peacefully Wednesday, (March 1, 2000) in the same home in which he was born 92 years ago. Edward was the last of nine children born to the late Frank and Margaret (Jones) Flynn. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne (Mostyn) Flynn. Before retiring, Edward was a traffic manager at Arrow-Hart and Hegemen in Hartford for 35 years. He was a lifelong communicant at the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Unionville. He is survived by his two sons, Dr. Edward T. Flynn, Jr. of Great Falls, VA; and Richard F. Flynn of Kensington; his daughter, Anne Marie "Nancy" Pytel of Bloomfield; four beloved grandchildren, Meghan, Sean and Kathryn Flynn, all of Kensington; and Erin Flynn of Great Falls, VA; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rte. 4, Unionville, TODAY, 10-11:30 a.m. Funeral Procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be TODAY, 11:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea at 12 Noon. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Mary Cemetery, Avon.
