Abbie F. Breitenstein, 91, died Aug. 30 at Rhode Island General Hospital, Cranston, where she had been a patient for six months. She was the widow of Arthur C. Breitenstein.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Irving N. and Amy B. (Shippee) Eddy. She had lived with her daughter in Johnston for four years, previously living in Providence for nearly 30 years.
She is survived by two sons, a daughter, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
