Water Valley, KY. - April 19
Ben P Bennett, member of a pioneering family of Water Valley, and one of its leading citizens, died at 7:30 a.m. today at his home in Water Valley. He was 94.
He had served as superintendent of the Water Valley Methodist Church and as steward for more than 40 years. He was a member of the local Masonic lodge.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Haskell of Water Valley, Mrs. Eula Boaz of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Anna Belle Wood of Fulton; a son, B. Paul Bennett of Fulton, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m Friday at the Water Valley Methodist Church with the Rev. L. B. Council officiating. Burial will be in the Water Valley Cemetery, with graveside Masonic rites.
The body is at the residence.
