FORMER PONTIAC MAN SUCCUMBS IN CHICAGO

PONTIAC - Albert J. Wagner, formerly of Pontiac, died at his home in Chicago Thursday night, following a stroke of apoplexy, after an illness of five months.

He was born in Streator, Dec. 3, 1876, and educated in the Streator public schools.

When 13 years old, he moved with his parents to Owego township. Until five years ago, he was engaged in farming. For five years he has been associated with the Independent Fruit Auction company of Chicago. About 19 years ago he was married to Miss Grace Acklin at Pontiac.

Besides his wife, the following survive: three children, Albert J., Elizabeth and Edith, all of Pontiac; his mother, Mrs. John J. Wagner; three sisters: Mrs. O. A. Tuttle and Mrs. E. J. Burrows of Pontiac, and Mrs. Charles Irrgang of Chicago; and one brother, George, also of Chciago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday at the Harris mortuary, Rev. Chester Crabtree, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Burial will take place in the south cemetery.
