Elizabeth Taylor Burgener McCarty passed away sweetly on August 28, 2013. She was born at home on February 18,1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah . She was the 7th child and youngest daughter of Lenorah Taylor and Walter Herman Burgener.

She married Vernon Arthur McCarty in Las Vegas, NV on October 5, 1972.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as an ordinance worker in the Portland Oregon Temple. She was a prominent Real Estate Broker in Beaverton, Oregon for many years and worked with her husband Vernon Arthur McCarty selling homes he built. She was a accomplished seamstress and was known for her baby quilts. She was generous and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Elizabeth is survived by children, Marvia Drake, Terrie Fitch, Corinne Walker, Bruce McCarty, James Brown, Gary Brown, Paula McLaughlin, and Suzanne Berg. She has 32 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon, her parents and all her siblings.

Funeral services will be held September 7, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints, Aloha, Oregon.
