Mrs. Emma Fox, aged 69 years, 3 months and 18 days, died at 12 o'clock today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Kalbach, 642 Church street, where she made her home. Death was caused following a stroke of paralysis, with which she was stricken more than two weeks ago. Since that time the deceased was confined to her bed. She rallied and appeared to be recovering until Tuesday night at ten o'clock, when she was stricken for the second time and she became unconscious. Members of her family were at the bedside when she passed into the great beyond. She was a highly esteemed resident of the Fifth Ward, where she was well known. Until June, when Mrs. Fox suffered from blood poison in the right hand, she was an active member of the St. Mark's Sunday school and church. She was a member of the Ladies Bible class. Besides Mrs. Lottie Kalbach, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Raymond Blough, another daughter, and four sons, Fred, John, Robert and William, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive.
