SANTA FE – Mr. Albert Henri Bares, Sr. passed from this life Sunday morning, January 15, 2012 in Kingwood.

He had coached little league baseball, attended Arcadia First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing, but his primary love was his wife and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters, his survivors include his wife, Jeanette; children and their spouses, Albert H. Bares, Jr. (Connie) of Santa Fe, Mark Bares (Debie) of Brenham, Karen Kassler (Ken) of Santa Fe, Sharon Sanchez (Eddie) and Vicki Nolan (Tony), all of Texas City; nephew, Jack Doraty (Kim) of Santa Fe, sister, Alma Pereira of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Matt Bares (Lauren), Amiee Bares (Clayton Hansen), Kris Kassler (Rickie), Kyle Kassler (Shannon), Kellie Bares (Jeff Taylor), Timmy McCoy (Mandy), Lacey McCoy-San Miguel (Johnny), Casey Hardisty (Lynden), Michael Sanchez, Patrick Sanchez, Sr. (Jennifer), Elizabeth Bryant, Jacob Doraty (Beth); great-grandchildren, Jaycie, Garrett and Damon Rabon, Alyssa McCoy, Kaylee and Korey Bruce, Patrick, Jr. and Gabriel Sanchez, Cody Hansen, Kori Siewell, Brayden and Westen Bryant, and the three youngest great-grandchildren who he lovingly referred to as his "A-Team", Katelyn and Kenton Kassler and Tucker Hansen.
