MARSHFIELD -- Mrs. Mabel Hintz, 77, 606 S. Walnut Ave.. Marshfield, mother of Mrs. William Thanig, Wisconsin Rapids, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Services will be at 10'30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church Marshfield, the Rev. Eldore F. Messerschmidt officiating, with burial in Hillside Cemetery. The former Mabel Dakins born in Plover, Oct. 12, 1896, and married Reuben Hintz in May, 1924. He died in 1957, when Mrs. Hintz moved to Marshfield. Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Richard Akey, Marshfield; two sons, Raymond, Plover, and Donald, Crawfordsville, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hogge, Camp Douglas; 10 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Friends may call at Hansen Chapel, Marshfield, from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday before 9 a.m , then at the church until time of services
