Age 66, of Springfield, he was a son of the late Peter A. and Bessie Case Kemling II. Pete was a 1965 Fairview High School graduate. He drove truck for 14 years, 10 of those with Apgar Bros. He then owned several businesses. He attended the Federated Church of East Springfield.
In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his sister: Luella Papson and her husband Cyril, his brother Bill Miller and his sister-in-law [Marjorie] Marge Sackett Kemling.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet Burger Kemling, a daughter, Amy Mitchell and her husband Mike of Albion, a son, Matthew Kemling and wife Peggy of West Springfield; three grandchildren; two sisters: Delores Grega and her husband Dan and Sandy Saliga and her husband Rich, all of Girard; a brother Frank Kemling of Fairview, brother-in-law, Doug Myers and his wife Joan of McKean; as well as many nieces and nephews and a "brother," Tommy Condon.
Burial in Hope Cemetery.
