Thank you so much Patrick Whitney for reseaching our family at this large cemetery! You have gone beyond most findagrave.com photographs. With your keen eye for detail we have learned so much more.

Laura has no headstone. Family, please help to contribute toward a headstone for our beginning families. Many in this line simply do not have headstones!

WE NEED FAMILY HELP TO SOLVE THIS MYSTERY:
"Wendy, I see a problem. The Laura A. Tucker that is listed in the logbook page from the Shelby County Register of Deeds died on 5-13-1896, and her cemetery is listed as being in Mason, TN; they did not list people who had died outside of Memphis unless the deceased person was brought into the city to be buried (I have seen some logbook pages for people who died outside of Memphis, and those logbooks are titled to indicate that they were "out-of-towners", so to speak). The Laura A. Tucker listed at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, TN, is shown as being interred on 2-17-1898. Now, unless they held off on burying her for a couple of years, then this might not be the same Laura A. Tucker that is listed as dying in 1896. I have looked through the deaths listed during the period of 2-10-1898 to 2-20-1898, and there is no record of anyone named Laura A. Tucker dying.
If you can nail down exactly when Laura Anderson Abel Tucker died, then we can figure out this puzzle."
