Wesley Sampson, 62, of Arnoldsburg, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Miletree Health Care Center, following a long illness. He was born February 18, 1941, at Calhoun County, a son of the late Cecil and Nellie Booher Sampson. He was a factory worker for Krondite Brick Factory with 25 years of service. He is survived by sons, Wesley Sampson, Jr of Florence SC and Andrew William Sampson; daughter, Susan Reip of Reedy and their mother, Xenia Jones; brothers, Delmer Sampson of Massillon OH and George Sampson of Newberry SC; sister, Wanetta Rogers of Massillon OH; and four granddaughters, Raychel and Autumn Bredenburd of Reedy, and Hallie and Ava Sampson of Florence SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew John Sampson. A private family service will be held at a later date. Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home of Ripley is in charge of arrangements.
