He was proceeded in death by parents, Rosa and Marion Lee Moody; first wife, Iris McAuliffe Moody; brother, Marshall Moody; twin, Ray Moody; son, Keith Andrew Moody; and stepson, Ricky Zapata.
He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Granda Moody; daughter Kathleen and son-in-law, Gary Kirchoff; brother, Robert Moody; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many stepchildren, nephews and nieces.
Born in Houston on March 7, 1932, Roy will be remembered for colorful expressions, paintings and many kind and heroic deeds.
Visitation 7-9pm Aug 29 and funeral 11 am Aug 30 at Blackwell Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home. Interment at VA Cemetery, Aug 30, at 12:45. "Memorial remembrances may be made to the Art League of Houston."
