Mary E. Stevens, 85 of the Blytheburn section Rice Township, Mountaintop. died Friday at Mercy Hospital. Wilkes-Barre.

Born on Mary 27, 1916 in WIlkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Jane (Cassidy) Kline. She was a clerical worker for the former Fairview High School.

She was a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, Mountaintop.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Kania; and brothers, Bernard, Thomas and Francis.

Surviving is her son, Gabriel, at home.

Funeral services - will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop, with a funeral Mas at 10 a.m. at t. Jude's Church.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler Township.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
