She was united in marriage to William C. Chapple on March 18, 1949 in Rosebush with William passing away on June 6, 1989.
Ila loved to Quilt and Embroidery; she also enjoyed doing puzzles.
Ila is survived by her daughters Betty Crook, Charlene Chapple and Glenna (John) Crafard all of Clare; her grandson Mario; a sister-in-law Ruth Purdee and several nieces and nephews.
Ila was predeceased by her parents, a daughter Connie Kay, siblings Julia and Frank and her son-in-law Dick Crook.
Services were led by Pastor John Kasper at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.
