Crude Oil company; came here in 1906; he and wife charter members of
Eastern Star; he was Worshipful Master of the Kermit Lodge; died in car
with daughter Leta after returning from doctor's appointment; survived by
wife; 4 daughters: Mrs. J.H. King of Dallas, Leta Cox of Ranger, Mrs. J.A.
Purifoy of Odessa, and Mable Kimble of Dallas; one son: A.W. Bishop of
Ranger; 3 deceased sons: W.T.J., Jr., Winburn, and Oscar)
