Deceased Name: Bonacorso, Lee
An avid fisherman and known to many as "Chief," he died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 86, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Orleans. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Deacon Don Musso. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna Mae Bonacorso; daughter, Lee Bonacorso; son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Ruth Bonacorso; brother, Martin Bonacorso; five grandchildren, Christine Lyon, Traci Lowe, Jeanee Lowe, Brittani Bonacorso and Brandon Bonacorso; and six great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Quave, Landon Fisk, Blake Bennett, Taylor Heck, Alana Bonacorso and Joshua Denova. Preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Lynn Bonacorso; and parents, Joseph and Julia Bonacorso.
