Graveside service will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Forest Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Mansen officiating.
Born Nov. 1, 1893, in Collin County, she was the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Brown McElroy. She married John J. West June 26, 1912 in Greenville. She worked in the Pentagon for the Adjutant General for 19 years before retiring in 1963. A former member of Eastern Star and Garden Club, she was a member of Central Christian Church.
Surviving are her nephews, Fred Adair of Texas City and Greg Thomas of San Angelo; sisters, Myrtle Wilson and Georgia Bowden, both of Greenville and Dorothy Thomas of San Angelo; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1936 and a nephew, Thad Thomas.
