MRS. VERNIE M. SPIGLER, widow of James W. Spigler, died suddenly Saturday evening after being taken to Washington County Hospital, aged 75 years.


Mrs. Spigler made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Robert O. Condon, 531 N. Mulberry St.


She was born at Halfway, daughter of the late Joseph and Adaline (Cover) Kneisly.


She had been a life long resident of this city. She was a member of Washington Square Methodist Church and the Ladies Bible Class.


Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Stanley C. Freeze and Mrs. Robert O. Condon, both of Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs. Jennie Schlotterbeck, Mrs. Kate Derr and Mrs. Harry LeFever, all of Hagerstown; brother, Frank Kneisly, Martinsburg, W. Va.; and one granddaughter.


Services will be at Kraiss Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2 pm, the Rev. Charles LeFew officiating. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
