Born April 30, 1947, in Plum City, Wis., she was the daughter of William Charles and Abbie Mary Martin Bauer. On Sept. 29, 1973, she married F. Stephen Beckman in Ottumwa.
Mrs. Beckman was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Arlington, member of Gunn Junior High School PTA, Arlington High School PTA, Arlington Council of PTAs, Texas extended life member and national life member of PTA.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Richard Robert Beckman and Stephen Joseph Beckman, both of Arlington; two daughters, Teresa Kathryn Beckman and Mary Joan (Molly) Beckman, both of Arlington; three sisters, Linda Briand of Egan, Minn., Teresa Swiden of Tea, S.D., and Ruth Anderson of Minneapolis; four brothers, David Bauer of Missouri City, Texas, John Bauer and Tom Bauer, both of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Charles Bauer of Sioux Falls, S.D.; her father and stepmother, William and Shirley Bauer of Sioux Falls; her grandmother, Ann Bauer of Durand, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
