She married Merrill Dudley Harmon on April 20, 1935 in Greenfield, Hancock Co, Indiana. Their children: Doris Ilene Spears; Janice Arlene Harvey; Robert Dale Harmon and Jack Wayne Harmon.
She was a lifelong dedicated homemaker and member of the First Christian Church of Beech Grove.
Hazel is survived by her children Janice (Larry) Harvey; R Dale Harmon and Jack Harmon grandchildren: Brian and Mike Harvey, Joe Spears and Brad Harmon; great-grandchildren: Miranda, Michelle, Nathan and Sam; brother: Robert (Jean) Bergdoll and cousin Marilyn Malone.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merrill 'Dud' Harmon who was Fire Chief for Beech Grove for over 20 years; daughter: Doris Spears; sister: Ruth Giroud; and brothers Ken and Paul Bergdoll.
Visitation will be held Thursday Oct 13th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove with funeral services at 2:00 pm. Thursday. Burial Greenwood Cemetery.
