Plot

The death cert for Silas states he is buried in Montrose, MI, but the Montrose Cemetery does not have him in their records. There was a fire that occurred in the early part of the 20th century that destroyed the Montrose Cemetery records. Their current records were put together using headstones and locals who remembered where those in unmarked graves were buried. We assume Silas is buried in an unmarked grave.
