Savage, daughter of Thomas Lyttleton and Marguerite (Teackle) Savage, of Northampton county, Virginia. Mr. Lyon was a prominent lawyer and for many years president of the Carlisle Bank, and was one of the most prominent and influential citizens at the time of his death, January 6, 1855.”
