An Aged Lady Dead
Mrs Howard, the widow of the late Pierce (sic) Howard, died at her home in North Middleton township yesterday at the age of 48 (sic) years. She was the mother of Everett Howard, of West Louther street, and a very estimable woman. Her funeral will take place Friday morning at ten o'clock.

Andrew's father William Quigley married a 2nd time to Elizabeth Adams (sister to Andrew's wife Nancy Adams Quigley). Father & son married sisters.
Her will written June 1841 and proven 24 September 1842 Elizabeth (Adams) Quigley states she is widow of William Quigley of East Pennsborough township deceased, and now residing with Andrew Quigley in North Middleton Township... but that she is an aunt to all of andrew quigley's seven children, to wit, Eliza intermarried with Peres Howard, Ann intermarried with James McNeal, Jane Mary intermarried with Richard Divens, Maria Kelly intermarried with Samuel Kelly, Matilda Quigley, Peres W. Quigley and Sarah A. quigley. The share bequeathed to Maria Kelly is to go to her two daughters Margaret and Nancy.
