Henry A. Babler 1875 - 1913

Henry Baebler of Monticello, a son of Albrecht Baebler, formerly of that village, died at
Humbird, Wis. last Saturday, where he had held the position of cashier at the local bank. The
cause of his death was appendicitis.
He was a brother of Mrs. David Hefty, whose husband was buried here on the Sunday
succeeding his own departure,
His body was brought to Monticello and the interment took place on Monday.
Deceased stood in the highest esteem with his business and social associates and the Swiss
settlement of Humbihrd is particularly mourning his untimely demise.
NOTE: At some time he dropped the 'e' from the 'ae' in the Baebler name. He is interred in
Highland cemetery, Monticello.
