Claude Allen Trimmell was born in Wilson Co Kansas on May 23, 1886 to Charles Morehouse Trimmell and Elizabeth(Lizzie)Mitchell Trimmell. Claude and his wife, Melvina(Vina)Hilderbrand lived in Beaver Co Oklahoma near Fulton Creek where they raised their two daughters, Roberta Mae Mosser and Leota Kulbiski Ward. Claude was a farmer/stockman. He loved his cattle. During the Dust Bowl days when a family was preparing to go west, usually to California they would come to Claude and get a hair cut before they started their trip west. His extended family called him "Uncle Mutt". He loved his family and friends. Claude was very excited when during the early 1950's a oil/gas well was drilled on his farm. Claude would visit with the Toolpusher daily to keep up with what was going on and how many feet they had gone that day. Claude was a wonderful grandfather and we loved him very much.
