HAMLET – Mr. Harley Lee Timm, 60, of 512 Lincoln Way, La Porte, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at 9:15 a.m. at home. He was born May 14, 1941, in Hamlet, to Harold Sr. and Helen (Garrison) Timm. Mr. Timm was an employee of American Rubber. On Oct. 5, 1963, in Fish Lake, he married Barbara Gaul, who died Aug. 3, 1972. Also preceding him in death were one sister, one brother and one grandchild. Surviving are five daughters, Kathy Beasley and Mary, both of La Porte, Susan Pen and Samantha, both of Michigan City and Malinda of Wausau, Wis.; four sons, Charles, Patrick and Dennis, all of La Porte and John of Wausau; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Martens of Streamwood, Ill., Dorothy Puckett of Hamlet and Helen Mathis of La Porte; and two brothers, John Robert and George Daniel, both of Knox. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel with Rev. Leon Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Grovertown Cemetery.
