Sironi, Romeo J., 94, of Berlin, died Dec. 25. Born in 1904 in Breeno, Province of Useria, Italy, he was the son of Riccardo and Attilia (Broggini) Sironi. He came to Barre in 1908 and attended Barre schools. He graduated from the former Goddard Seminary and later from Burlington Business College. He and the late Eugene Stefanazzi founded the United Granite Company and in 1953, he and his brother Charles, opened Sironi's Country Store in Montpelier, which he ran until retirement in 1978. In 1935, he married Helen Buzzell. He was a member of St. Monica's Church in Barre.
