Achsah Anne Wallace was the daughter of William Dickerson (also spelled Dickinson in several sources) & Mary nee Hall.
She married Allen Wallace Sr, the son of John Wallace & Abigail nee Allen, about 1833 in Salem Co, NJ.
They issued 10 known children: Edward D. Wallace, William Wallace, Achsah Ann Wallace, Sarah "Sallie" Wallace, Rachel C. Wallace (my 3x great-grandmother), Allen Wallace Jr, Hannah D. Wallace, John Wallace, Franklin P. Wallace, and Mary Emma Wallace.
Allen Wallace Sr served in the NJ State House of Assembly representing Salem County, NJ for about 1 year, 1843-44. He was a member of the NJ State Senate representing Salem County, NJ for one term from 1854-1856. (Note: a term was 2 years at that time, now one term is 6 years)
He also served as an Associate Judge for Salem County Courts in NJ, about 1860.
