Funeral services for Lloyd Galyen, 76, were Feb. 18 at the American Legion auditorium with the Rev. Alfred Gerhardt officiating.
Interment was in the Martin Community Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post 240. The Ziegler Funeral Service was in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Galyen was born July 16, 1894 at Galax, Va., and died Feb. 14. He had farmed in the Martin area and since 1958 had worked at the local port of entry. On Feb. 10 he had been recognized for his 12 years of service.
Survivors include his widow, Martin, two Sons, Leonard, Elk Point, and Ralph, Rapid City; a daughter, Mildred Olsen, Martin, five grandchildren and three brothers.
